This two part session is an expanded version of the Union representatives stand-alone session and is designed to be run across two 1-hour sessions:
An introduction to international trade using the banana supply chain as an example and an opportunity to explore how and why trade impacts negatively on workers in producer countries.

Uses Banana Link campaigns as practical examples of how to get involved in international solidarity, before considering other actions that can be taken by trade union activists to improve social and environmental conditions for workers along international supply chains.
